The fonds consists of the private papers and records gathered by Anthony Taulbut relating to his interest in local history and his work with local governments in Mission. It includes collected photographs; a local history quiz; and printed material on a broad range of subjects; the minutes of meetings, letters, registers, visitors’ books, and lists of Mission School District; and the minutes of meetings, letters, land records and assessment rolls of the Corporation of the District of Mission. Fonds also includes records of the Freemasons in Mission.
The fonds consists of correspondence, literary papers, certificates, awards, programs, clippings, school records and photographs of Dorothy Hills. The fonds includes early photographs of the Grinsted and Hills families.
The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files and photographs created and accumulated and used under the name of the Fraser Valley Record from 1908 to 1996 and under the name of Mission City Record after 1996.
