The fonds consists of the private papers and records gathered by Anthony Taulbut relating to his interest in local history and his work with local governments in Mission. It includes collected photographs; a local history quiz; and printed material on a broad range of subjects; the minutes of meetings, letters, registers, visitors’ books, and lists of Mission School District; and the minutes of meetings, letters, land records and assessment rolls of the Corporation of the District of Mission. Of note in the collection is more than 40 postcards of Mission’s most storied street – First Avenue, originally called Washington Street.
